Ottawa 2009
- Balcony Babe
- This summer I moved to Ottawa to start a new job. When a visitor comes to Ottawa he or she is likely to have limited time and will want to see the major attractions: Parliament, the Canal, the Babe (Balcony type, of course). Since there are other little tidbits that are interesting, but not necessarily interesting enough to visit, I will make some short blog posts about them for your reading pleasure.

smog? what? ok, cancel that Canadian visa, I'm staying here in pristine East Asia. Never a smoggy day over here.
As long as you consider breathing to be optional, Ontario is the place to be in the summertime. Smog, fog, humidity - it's all here.
I really don't know why the politicians don't think that we need to do something about fixing the environment. Maybe they don't leave their fancy offices to see what is really going on outside.
I think you both need to spend time in fog, not smog - so try Courtenay sometime, will you please! Actually it seems that Courtenay has better weather this week than all three of the places where we live!
