The kayak was sold tonight thanks to an ad on Kijiji. I didn't get quite as much as I would have liked but it was nice to find a buyer and I'm sure she will really enjoy it. Now my garage has enough space to get the vehicle in and out safely so I can go explore the city a bit beyond my little neighbourhood.

Good for you for selling things you don't need/use at the moment. But I'm sad to hear such a nice kayak was among those things.

I have to admit that I am still a little sad that the kayak had to go. I have finished with the easy parts of downsizing - giving away the stuff that I am not attached to. Now I have to continue with the things that I care about and start making some tough decisions. Today I am going to go through some of my little collectibles and make up a box to give to the Sally Ann's. I'm sure someone would like them.
