Blog comments

Hi Chris. I have finally replied to your blog comments. I didn't know that they were there because I accidentally deleted the feature that lets me see comments. Now it is added back and I promise to be more careful in the future with my editing and layout experimentation. I was intending to make the blog primarily a written format, but since I just bought a new digital camera I have been having fun taking pics and posting them. Going forward, I will make the time to write some thoughts down and post them since I think that sharing ideas is much more interesting than looking at pics. Cheers and have a good day.

Hilly~ I met a Korean tattooist the other week. He says he'll give me a small tattoo for free at the music festival next weekend. Any suggestions?

(Side note: Tattoo-ing is illegal in Korea, with the one exception of doctors who can do cosmetic surgery style tattoos. Dr Cho is a plastic surgeon by trade and a tattooist by hobby. Ironically, his practice specializes in tattoo removal. He literally removes tattoos in the mornings and gives them in the afternoons.)

Free tatoos sound good - I wish I could get one. Is he using sterilized needles and ink? If so, ask him if he'll do a big one for you. hahaha Seriously, what body part are you going to decorate?

I really don't know what or where to get it. Maybe a sun on my leg? I'd like to get a nice one in Japan before I leave Asia.... and I have a few ideas for that. But for a small one, I really am not sure.

what are your suggestions?

I like tribal tats but they don't appeal to everyone. Maybe you could draw the sun in a style that appeals to you both artistically and symbolically.

Hey Chris, don't get a tottoo until you are very committed to one. But if it is free get a three colour one, they look great.
