Mother nature is showing some mercy on my garden. Rain and moderate temperatures are providing some relief to my drought stricken shrubs and some of them are showing their appreciation with flowers and gorgeous foliage.
Your garden looks great!! It is a far cry from the fall look we are having here. I wish it was winter already as the half dead tree looks contrasts so starkly with the green of our grass. With the onset of winter the snow would eliminate the grass part of this picture.
What do you use to warm your coffee while you compute??? I am now using a plug in usb hub and coffee warmer. The people at Guinness included it with my last batch of porter. ( I guess the people at Guinness think I will need a coffee to recover from too much drinking or something so they saw a synergy between beer and coffee warmers?!?!?!?!?)
Having had a multi year drought in these parts I appreciate rain much more than I would if I lived on the 'wet coast'! Sniff your rose for me - it looks beautiful!!Guess Californians could use some rain as well right now!
This summer I moved to Ottawa to start a new job.
When a visitor comes to Ottawa he or she is likely to have limited time and will want to see the major attractions: Parliament, the Canal, the Babe (Balcony type, of course). Since there are other little tidbits that are interesting, but not necessarily interesting enough to visit, I will make some short blog posts about them for your reading pleasure.
