Run in the rain

Today's workout was a run at Lemoine Point. It was raining slightly which suited me quite well since it kept the trails empty of people. I don't have an exact distance but I believe that it was 7 km or slightly longer. Overall, I'm pleased with today's effort.

I walked 12km or so in the river valley today, with friends and the day just got warmer and warmer as we went along. It was about 22C by the time we got back to the house. And to think I had contemplated wearing a turtleneck! They came back here to try Rebar lentil soup which is cool weather food, not hot fall day fare! Oh well - it is still scrumptious.

That sounds like a very ambitious walk. I'm glad that you had a couple of friends who were brave enough to go out with you. Do you have any plans to repeat your walking tour of England in the near future?

I think I speak for all three of we 'Hadrian's vets' when I say we would love to do more walking in England. 'When' remains a question.
