Cycle on

Patricia made an excellent suggestion to keep on cycling. By 16:00 hours today I was mostly over my cold so I went to the gym for 45 minutes on the spin bike. 20 km total. Feel great - lots of energy.

Glad you are feeling better! I was going to suggest the age old remedy for colds and flu - drink LOTS of fluid. An elderly lady told me years ago that the extra fluid flushes out the 'pizons' and low and behold, the old wives tale is credited as correct by the medical establishment.

Drinking water is great advice. I drink over 1.5 litres a day but am still dehydrated. Things became much better after I stopped running the heater in my room, though. It was making everything too dry for comfort so now I stay in a cold room but am not as thirsty.
