I like the cappucino entry much better than the impossible push-ups entry!

I agree with you. The whipped cream really makes the drink.

Starbucks has been going down hill lately here in Ktown. There are several franchises but the one closest to my home has such terrible service that I won't even go there any more. How are they doing in Seoul and Edmonton?

Starbucks in Seoul - expensive (smallest size latte costs $5.00) and really noisy. They don't offer any de-caf coffee or skim-milk/no fat/soya options. Umm, except for that they are OK. Staff isn't friendly and they refuse to speak any English, but they are much better than Dunkin Donuts.

we prefer Second Cup to Starbucks any day. B..u..t - I have to give credit to Starbucks for having a clean restroom in several locations that are really useful!

hi Hilly, this is a bit off-topic, but I thought it might make a funb blog.

Go here: http://www.popculturemadness.com/Music/Number-One-Songs-70s.html

find the Bilboard #1 song from the day / year you were born. Then go to youtube and post the video of your song.

here's mine http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aSqo17o2a1w (I've always hated this song!)

Oh, and I wanted to tell you that we use the tea set every day! love the colours and shapes - and we especially love that you choose them for us. Thanks Hilly!

Howdy Chris:
I'm glad that you like the tea set and hopefully the coffee mugs are useful too. My intention was to give you both a gift that was a combination of Korean and Canadian styles. Not easy to do but hopefully you are finding that balance in your married life. How are things working out for the two of you?

Hey Patricia:
Second cup is definitely a good chain and I love the maple drinks that they come out with in the fall. There are not as many of those coffee shops around here as I would like so I don't go there too often. For a while they were using small and medium cups that had the same volume of coffee but were still charging two different prices for the drinks. I was led to understand that this was a head office decision, not a decision made by the franchisees. Have you noticed whether your local Second Cup has resolved this problem?

Hey Chris, thanks for the blog idea. I'll check out the site and let you know how it goes. Since I was born in the same year that Sesame Street went on the air I wouldn't be surprised if I get a video featuring Big Bird and some kind of funky kids song. "Fa la la la...can you tell me how to get...how to get to Sesame Street...."
